NTT America Announces Integrated Organization for Enterprise Customers
Mr. Kazuhiro Gomi to lead new Organization and is appointed Chief Operating Officer

New York, NY – NTT America, Inc., a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, announced today the appointment of Kazuhiro Gomi as the company’s Chief Operating Officer effective June 1, 2009. Mr. Gomi will also lead the newly created Enterprise Solutions Business Unit (ESBU). Combining the resources of NTT America’s Arcstar™ global private network services and Enterprise Hosting services, the Enterprise Solutions Business Unit will offer integrated, managed IT infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers, leveraging a full service line-up and the combined expertise of the company.
The new business unit will play a leading role in NTT Communications’ ongoing expansion in the US market, including additional network infrastructure and new data center capacity. In addition to ESBU services, NTT America continues to offer its renowned Global Tier-1 IP backbone services through the Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit.
A recent study of senior IT leaders at over 100 multi-national companies, conducted by NTT America and CIO magazine, showed that 73% of respondents considered capabilities to provide standardized and tested solutions as a key factor in selecting managed service providers.

In addition to his new role as COO, Mr. Gomi continues to lead the Global IP Network business unit and retains his role as Chief Technology Officer of NTT America.
