Integrated Technology Solutions through Outsourcing
NTT provided an integrated technology solution to a leading consumer package goods company that was suffering from a fragmented global information network. The company wanted to secure a single partner to outsource IT management rather than employing multiple vendors.
NTT's global presence and superior customer service provided the streamlined Global Wide Area Network the customer was seeking. In addition, NTT provided an IP-Phone solution that served as a one-stop outsourcing solution for Voice, Video, and Data convergence. The solution is currently serving North America with plans to expand to Europe, Asia and South America
NTT assessed the organization’s existing infrastructure, technology, and business needs, and, in turn, implemented four major changes:
- Wide Area Network: Implementing its Arcstar MPLS IP-VPN technology, NTT provided the client with a seamless migration from their existing Network provider to a fully secure, meshed network topology, which enables Voice, Video and Data (ERP) communication among all locations on the network
- Collocation Service: Connecting the network through NTT’s collocation site, which then accesses NTT’s Global IP Network
- IP-PBX Solution: Implementation of a Cisco IP-PBX to enable Voiceover IP connectivity for all locations employing the technology on the network
- Systems Integration Solutions: Providing a series of integrated services, such as building management consultation, video conferencing solutions, and DMZ relocation across the entire global network
